The connection an animal makes when it looks directly down the barrel of your lens is a personal one - a split second shared between the subject and the person behind the camera. But, actually, this is not the only reason photographers strive long and hard to get the picture, sometimes under very unpleasant conditions and occasionally at considerable personal risk. It is first and foremost to show others just how amazing wildlife is and to foster a sense of concern for it and the inhabitans in which wildlife exixts"

My name is Rachele, I'm 28 and I live in Italy.
Amateur photographer, vegetarian, animalist, I love good books, alternative-rock music, and dramatic series made in Usa; journalist, dreamer, bored, distracted, chaotic, confused, hopeful, in love, pessimist (but less than before)...
My favourite field is nature photography: as you can see animals are my favourite subjects, maybe because I adore them ;)
I use a Canon Eos 40D, a Panasonic Lumix FZ50 and a point-and-shoot Lumix TZ3, that's always in my bag. I've got also an Olympus Mju 770 sw for underwater shots.
Photografy is a burning passion and Flickr (with my fantastic Flickr friends!) helped the fire to grow...

I love to read comments and to find new photographers...unluckily I've just a few time to spend on Flickr, so I'm not going to add a lot of new contacts to my list. If I don't add you...well, nothing personal: I just hate to add a lot of people without having the time to watch at their shots. I consider it quite a lack of respect.
