I have always loved looking at photos and remember going through my mum's photo albums regularly but never realized how much enjoyment I could get from taking them until I had my first beautiful daughter. That was when I got my first SLR (Canon 350D) and started taking photos like there was no tomorrow. I now have a Canon 40D and have expanded my photography equipment to help explore different techniques and also developing my skills in photoshop.
I also have my own home studio setup and love to experiment with different lighting techniques.
I have also started my own photography business 'J R Burton Photography' and have had lots of interest from friends and people I work with. I have now done two weddings and one already booked for next year. I have also done several photo shoots which have been a great success and have more booked.
