I really like Japanese culture, both pop and traditional. (My best friend is from Tokyo.)

I recycle, freecycle and bicycle! I like just about anything that has been handmade and/or repurposed. (I make most things myself--soap, candles, clothing, handbags, crayons, furniture, etc.) I like natural things and organic stuff too.

I really like tiny things too.

I'm married to my opposite in personality, but equal in soul. (for extra fun: he's a VIRGO--I'm a LIBRA) We got married in our backyard on April 30th 2000 (Beltane Eve).

I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work with a concentration on Health/Mental Health. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with a specialty in Creative Writing/Poetry. I hold a minor in Women's Studies. (and I have a sister who is a fabulous scientist working on a cure for breast cancer!)

Born in the year of the Monkey, I am a Libra rising sun, with a Leo moon---and yes, I do have a temper when pushed too far!

My favorite colors are cobalt blue and lemon yellow.

I have teenagers at home ( 17 year old son and taller than me 14 year old daughter). I also have a zoo--5 cats, 1 dog, 1 turtle, 1 hamster (okay, she's my daughter's), 2 aquariums
