Turniposaurus' photostream

My most interesting photos according to Flickr

I decided to buy a digital camera as a present to myself when I graduated from university. I bought a Canon Powershot A95 in July 2005. I'm loving the digital technology! I took almost 250 pictures when my friends and I went on a road trip to Yellowstone National Park in May 2006. I have recently started playing with the manual settings, trying learn to do more with my camera.
Update(May 2007): I have finally ventured into the SLR world and bought myself a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi! I'm very excited about it!

"One of the very first persons to make me a contact and to comment on my pictures was David, Turniposaurus, Lloyd. I then quickly discovered that not only did David photograph the subjects that I like, he took pictures that made me re-think and re-look at many other things in a different way. David was the first flickr contact I actually met. We got together at the Royal Tyrell where he works and in the year since, we have got together on several occasions, and of course we discuss photography. Not only is David an excellent photographer, he is a great facilitator introducing me to many other fantastic photographers within his large circle of flickr friends and indeed his family.
I think that Turniposaurus is probably never far from his camera. David has on his photostream great shots taken at all times of the day, in all kinds of weather and on all kinds of trips. He has fantastic pics from his work, and of course incredible pics from his many adventures.
Turniposaurus is such a prolific photographer, I can count on seeing his newest shots almost every time I sign in to flickr. David, thanks for including me in the journey!"18th December, 2007

"Strange how things work out... I found David's photostream on another friends contact list, and for good reason (great minds think alike), David puts personality into his photography. What I appreciate the most from David's exhibits is the way he puts a personal touch on each composition...as if I was there to see them in person.
David offers constructive and supportive comments that helps feed the drive to capture and share more... Your contributions to my photostream and extended friendship have made my participation in Flickr worthwhile. Thank you David, and I'm looking forward to more spectacular photography! Cheers~ Mike"22nd July, 2007

Tracey Barnett says:
"My Husband and I love to browse David's photostream, David captures much more of Albertas beauty that rests outside the Canadian Rockies. Through Davids photos we get to be kids again as he takes us back in time to when the T-rex ruled and Beavers stood 5 feet. We are thankful that what started as an appreciation for photos has turned into a friendship."

"Months ago, I was drawn to Davids' photostream by one single photograph he had taken related to his profession. Since then, I find myself drawn by a whole array of photos that captivate the creative mind. David is an extremely active and kind Flickr member, who creates a fun environment for other members fortunate enough to have been visited by him...I'm proud to call him a friend. Keep up the excellent work!"
