After a 12 year break from photography, I got my first DSLR in March 2007. For the first 6 months I didn't take it out of the Auto mode, then while on a 4 day trip to Scotland I experimented with some of the manual modes and have never been back in auto mode since! I still have a lot to learn and I'm always looking to improve.

I love taking photographs of our natural world, there is so much beauty out there, my aim is to bring some of that natural beauty to everyone.

I have met some lovley people on Flickr, these people have given me encouragement with their very kind comments.

When I'm not taking photo's, I like to listen to music, going to the gym, reading books and watching my beloved Preston North End attempt to get into the Premiership (maybe one day). This is looking more like dropping to league 1 now

I follow two simple rules when taking photographs of our natural world.

I leave only footprints
I take only photographs and memories.
