  "I have known Carla as a Flickr member for just a few weeks at this time, but have already come to realize that there is something special about her. She has been into photography for less than a year, yet her photos show that there is much more there than just a new interest. There is talent that I feel will grow and become even better as she spends more time with her pictures. She has already posted many shots that are quite beautiful and unique. She has imagination and isn't afraid to let it transport her to unexplored regions. I feel that she is also a determined person. Not only has she taken on the challenge of photography itself, but has also thrown down the gauntlet to Photoshop which, in my humble opinion , is daunting. She is also willing to help others. Being new to computers and "computerese" three weeks ago I had absolutely no idea what IMHO meant even though I was seeing it multiple times. Carla was the one to help me with that. She has also helped with other things, some of which I understand, and others which are still something of a mystery. There are sometimes people who are such that their personality seems to be able to come through some formidable barriers; such as a computer screen and the Atlantic Ocean. Carla is such a person, and the personality that comes through is quite pleasant and a compliment to humanity.
