Perhaps I'm your typical Middle-American caucasion Christ-pursuing God-chasing family-raising guy who just likes to share the journey along the way...perhaps not. Maybe I'm a middle-aged hopeless optimist who just refuses to slip into a culturally anesthetized and socially acceptable posture towards life. Honestly, I have no idea how to describe myself. We are all so much more than meets the eye and filled with tremendous potential as well as unmentionable shame and failure. I am the husband of a beautiful blonde and father of two precious little princesses. I enjoy long-distance cycling, kayaking, fly fishing, and backpacking. I play the guitar, sax, and keyboard. I love pursuing those musical interests as a lead worshipper in our church (Lifespring) and also serve as the Pastor of Community Life. The journey is filled with the mysterious, the miraculous, and the mundane and I enjoy it thoroughly.
