busy busy busy....working almost full time, one teenager, one young adult and a preschooler still at home what a combination. My mother was a cake decorater and had stopped decorating ten years ago, my husband tried to get her to start decorating again and in the process I somehow fell into the craft. so christmas 2009 is my third anniversary of cake decorating. I have discovered I really love modeling figures and makeing creative types of cakes. I love the works of Debbie brown , maisie parish and also the more traditonal forms of cake decorating of a bygone era. I also believe to make a good cake it has to be good to eat and last but not least, I like my cakes to be fun and make people happy with a centerpeice of their celebration. I toast each completed cake with a glass or two of champagne.......I deserve it cakes are hard work!
