I have only been interested in photography since May 2009 when I attended a course at work about social media, as Flickr for example :) (I am a university librarian).
In November I got my first SLR camera, a Canon EOS 1000 D. Something to start with! I have lots and lots to learn but what I like about photography is that it teaches you to see.
However, painting, drawing and making patterns for textiles will always be my number one interest and photography gives me even more inspiration for that! So, photography will never totally be my "thing", but I still love my new interest! It is so quick! Compared ... :o)
I very much enjoy talking to other Flickr persons all over the world too! And to see all of your fabulous photos ... :o)
