Grew up in SE London, the son of a doctor and nurse. Survived the turmoils of being the only brother with 3 sisters, eventually driving me screaming to Nottingham to do a degree at Trent Poly. There was a year in Germany, where I first properly learnt to enjoy my own company.

Tuned in, turned on and dropped out after poly and got into writing, creative exploration, new ways of living, more music and some amazing people. Ended up in Leeds in the mid 90s and then moved to Manchester 5 years ago. Met mojo74 (the love of my life) and got married just over 2 years ago. After a trip to the dogs home and random stray encounter, family unit includes 2 crazy (but equally lovely) dogs.

Been a back seat flickr passenger for quite a while, looking over mojo's shoulder admiring her's and other people's photos. Just couldn't resist it any longer ...
