A recent widower; a keen photographer since the age of 13, taking colour slides, then B&W darkroom work. In January 2011 switched to a DSLR, having formerly taken and scanned colour negatives, as well as a compact digicam.
Landscape, trees, wild flowers, water and waterfalls, old buildings and picturesque places - all good, traditional pictorial stuff, and I have photographed my share of functions, babies and Meccano models and exhibitions.
I also collect cameras from the 1960's, and now own all of the ones which, as a young teenager, I ardently desired (almost worshipped) but were then completely unaffordable and unattainable.
The World is getting harder to photograph, but thanks to the magic of the digital darkroom, we can (almost) make it what we like.
