Born in South Africa and now live with my wife and 2 girls in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Having a blast and taking life a day at a time.

Years ago I had a 35mm SLR Yashica camera and had great fun with that camera until things changed and the camera was left alone for a period and got ruined.

During the years I have always had an interest in photos but never got around to getting a new camera except for a small Samsung I purchased a while ago to take some quick pictures.

Last year my brother John got a camera and this planted another seed that I nurtured and this grew into a keen interest again so I went out and bought a new Nikon D40X.

The journey has begun once again and I am enjoying it immensely. Flickr is such a wonderful place to share and enjoy what others do.
