Married at Shubra, Cairo, 1949. Departed Egypt reluctantly, only after most family members had scattered on the four winds, to Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, and Europe as part of the 1950s/early 1960s mass Exodus.

Now an Octogenarian, a widower for more than twenty years. No family remaining other than very distant and elderly second cousins now residing in al-Gharbiyyah province.

Lecturer and writer, former engineer, now semi-retired, commuting between USA and UK to fulfil a number of regular teaching/tutororial engagements.
