I'm a professional ecologist / botanist working since 1990 for Alachua County, Florida's Environmental Protection Department. Raised on Virginia's Eastern Shore, I've been drawn to nature and natural things for as long as I can remember.
I'm a self-taught and learning photographer, so please offer any suggestions you may have to improve the images -- I've a fairly thick skin regarding constructive criticism. There's so much to learn and so little time.

Viewing his stream over the last few months is like taking a walk through some of Florida's most precious areas and viewing some of it's most magnificent and endangerd plants, wildlife, insects and birds. His images are always crisp, clear and well composed.
