Enjoy every bit of life.

I began my photographic career ironically through fun social events. At first I found myself wondering why only professional photographers were allowed to run around to take snapshots and no one seemed to tell them "down in front!" even though it was implied through the smiles in their wonderful faces. (I kid)

My Aha! moment came when I shot my first wedding (pro bono of course) and compared my work with the other photographer there. His shots were consistently overexposed, lack any real creative meaning and were delivering pictures that I felt I could do better than. The competitive aspect of photography drew me in. I started accumulating equipment.... and before long. my original $2,100 investment doubled over the course of 2 years.

It's ridiculous how expensive this hobby is and I joke that every time I put my photographic equipment into my car, it doubles in value. (ha....) =D

But in any case, I love the in-camera features and IQ that make photography what it is today: an expression of creativity through different perspectives.

To be honest, I value video more than photography, but that's another story.

There is really 4 key fundamentals to photography that you really need to understand on how they interact with each other: Aperture, ISO, Shutter, and White Balance.

My primary focus is shooting weddings. Like that of writing a paper, photographing a wedding from start to finish is very much the same. A day that is photographed well and has creative facets will only enhance the quality of the paper once you reach the end of the day.

So what do i want to do with photography?
-fashion
-event photography
-weddings/integrated movies
-make entertaining and thoughtful slideshows

i'm fortunate to reside in southern california, the entertainment capital of the West Coast. I am 30 minutes from hollywood and the beach and the desert, and.pretty much everything on the planet.

I want to do more than just make this a hobby. but first i need to master lighting, printing, and of course photoshop.

chdk power!

In summary, I'm a price and value sort of guy. I'm not a brand whore in any way and only recommend products that promote the best value for the dollar.

Thanks for reading my profile and I hope that you find something beyond photographic purposes. Enjoy life. Carpe Diem and all that good stuff ^.^
