"I first "bumped" into Stan is Skelton woods - OK you fussy lot may call them Saltburn woods, but I'm a Skelton lad .. hey ho ! I noticed a guy with a Nikon snapping away, Magic (my lil dog who if ever met is not shy !!) said hello to Stan and Pam, now if youv'e met Stan you'll know what comes next !! Stan talks me head off , at 100 miles an hour !! (in the very nicest of ways !!) and we become instant friends !, its like we've known each other for ever !!
Now Stan is one of the very, very best humans you could ever wish to meet ! Stan just wants to share.. everything... his knowledge, his skills, his experience, even just his life , which is a fun story ! Stan is a giver ! And I count my self very lucky that this bloke thinks I'm worth talking to. Wev'e shared a few day out (a lot more I hope also !!) and His passion for what is "seen" is bloody brilliant, I took a shot of something, Stan told me, "get low, put this lens on and think about whay YOU see" I still have the pic of the pier with the rocks in front on my page !!
Stan is a cracking documentory photographer, he'll talk to ANYONE !! and I mean that !!
I love his work it is so " Felt " like he needs to feel every shot he makes, his B&W work stands out, and he's well known for it within the world of Flickr.
