My work explores the relationship between the tyranny of ageing and daytime TV.
With influences as diverse as Kafka and John Lennon, new variations are crafted from both constructed and discovered textures.
Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the essential unreality of the mind. What starts out as yearning soon becomes debased into a tragedy of greed, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the unlikelihood of a new reality.
As temporal replicas become transformed through frantic and diverse practice, the viewer is left with a statement of the darkness of our condition.
