** My Flickr Pro was running out in March, BUT The Beautiful and wonderful and awesome Alex www.flickr.com/photos/lovesmurv gifted me a Flickr Pro account. Thank you ever so much Alex! I can't say that enough right now. :D


I am very much an artistic, non commercial photographer located in Southwestern, Ontario, Canada. While I may on occasion have exhibitions and sell prints, my personal web .com site and blog are not commercial ones and I don't use Flickr to sell my images. I can attest that, despite many photographers here enjoying my work over the years, I have not made one dime via anything on Flickr. All images are ARR © Mike Wood Photography and are watermarked ©mikewoodphotography.com. ©Mike Wood Photography, or my older ©W4B Photography. I have done that so if you see any of my images being posted by others on flickr or elsewhere- aside from any of the models in the shots who have my OK to do so, people can easily get in touch.

All images in my stream are All Rights Reserved. No More Creative Commons. They are covered behind the spaceball and unless you are a contact, thats the only size you get to see.

You must get permission first and ask whether I would like the image to be used on any site or any media. My images are not a stock photo gallery for your picking.

The only exception is the Blockr image which is set to CC and I am fine if anyone uses and posts in their stream.

If you are one of the iconless favourites collectors, I will notice and block you. Don't waste your time doing it. Really. Get a life.

I try to look at and comment on my friends pictures. Feel free to do the same. The models like reading your comments too. :) Icon awards/invites without a few words on why they were given can be blatantly self serving at times. Take the time to write why you like an image, not just cut n paste n move on. A comment from one person with a half dozen or more awards that are huge, blink, or otherwise distract will get deleted so don't be offended. :)

Rude or disgusting comments will be deleted and you will be blocked. If you have no pictures, are a favorites collector, or someone with yer hairy crotch in each shot when u add me as a contact and don't give me the heads up first, or post images that you do not hold the copyright for I will block you... I am also not into the whole TV CD TS etc scene. Nothing against it, but not for me. So if that's all you have I wont bother looking or adding.

If you want to include a shot of mine in your group and I can't see the group or its rules I simply wont add it. And don't cut n run when inviting. be nice and leave a couple words too. I am going to just start deleting 'comment free' group invites. Especially ones to groups I actively post to. I've been around a long time. Most of you know where I post images to. No sense inviting me somewhere I'm already going... If you keep spamming me with group adds and or invites in comments I will just block you.
