Hi there. Thanks for visiting my profile. That's kinda tenacious of you, and it's appreciated.

What would you like to know?

I'm a rather painfully rank amateur who's been, I think, gifted with (a) a natural eye and (b) absolutely no technique or (c) technical know-how. I'm working on correcting (b) and (c), for what it's worth. The journey is all, right?

In a former life, I was an actor which, in America, means being either super-successful or a dude who acts and works a day job to make ends meet, often barely. After hitting my 40th birthday, I started thinking that one day I might like to have something socked away for my retirement, so I gave up on acting and transitioned to a career as a corporate communicator, for which I'm rather delightfully well-remunerated. It's what allows me to pursue my avocation.

I love making friends and love learning from more experienced shooters, so please don't ever hesitate to offer critiques or suggestions for improvement in the comments section. Years of being rejected at auditions have given me a fairly tough skin. And if I don't agree with specific criticisms, I'll still say "thanks" and think about how I can incorporate your advice going forward!
