Everything is founded in architecture; even our thoughts and feelings have dimension.

The entire universe has texture, form, depth. It is spacial, although we are not able to comprehend its vast totality.
Everything is founded in architecture; even our thoughts and feelings have dimension.

The variation within a given structure is infinitely large, thereby nothing is fixed nor determined. One can touch them, with their thoughts and emotions, through associations, and on a physical plane.

Is everything connected within a given space or are there dimensions that remain detached from time and space?

We express ourselves and the world around us in a variety of ways, both consciously and subconsciously. We can experience, process, store, transmit, communicate life and are able to experience many realities through the reflection of other people.

We were created as physical and social beings.

We can not always share our similar yet very unique experiences of individual realities directly with other people. However, due our creative nature, we have many outlets in which we can express ourselves through.

Art, in all of it's many faces, gives us a direct link to our “inner architecture”, our true form.

Photography is my voice.

It is a dialogue I speak that conveys a universal message, one which can be translated into many languages. My moods and the atmosphere in which I find myself in are all a part of how I express myself through the images I take.

At times, prose, lyrics or drawings are an alternative medium I use to explore my creativity, but photography is first and foremost my preferred form of art.

Photography has a way of giving one the illusion of being the closest to reality, when in fact photography is definitely farthest away from reality because of it's alleged proximity to the truth!

There are times when a thought cannot be articulated by the use of words. This is where photography intercedes. My images become translators of the world I experience within my mind as well as with what I see.

"My friend Werner is a very unique photographer / Shooter… not receiving what I know to be his proper dudes… he’s extremely intelligent, it’s almost frightening and his mastery of words even in his Germanic translation to English is like a hot poker through butter… and saying all this, you cannot find a more sincere person…

Our relationship has touch many levels… in the beginning not truly understanding his German sense of humor or his philosophy of life… let us to many evening and day of butting heads like two rams…

Believe me our passion for images and words took us out the dueling fields… lol!!!

My East Harlem philosophy of what’s mine is mine and his philosophy was what’s yours belongs to all of us… is the wisdom that I now embrace.

I say this unabashedly… I have learn from this man (Werner) the meaning of how two men can have the same passion the same drive and coexist as equals…

I now want to talk about his passion, his shooting skills and his love…
I will show you three images out of his amazing body of work that in my opinion shows what I love about his photography…

    "Werner.
Little by little I came across this talented photographer´s stream, enjoying subjects, light, colours and a fantastic eye for composition.
He does the kind of clean and beautiful work I admire so much, turning his pages into really special places to be here on flickr.
Besides, I love his choice of titles and the use of charming words to describe every posted picture, enriching his beautiful images even more.
    Congratulations, Werner.
It is a pleasure to see and enjoy what you do!

    Jenny's site says:

"Werner has been a contact of mine for years now and this testimonial is long overdue.

Werner is one of the most talented photographers. His stream is filled with such a large variety of images that you could spend all day on his stream just taking it all in.

He has a masterful eye for composition and his use of light speaks to the level of proficiency he possesses as an artist.

But not only are his images stellar, technically precise and perfectly composed, but by following his stream, you will learn along the way because Werner is very good at providing interesting information to go along with his wonderful photos.

His architectural shots are way above the average and always informative. He writes as well as he photographs his subjects.

Get to know Werner and you will have a true friend and a fantastic fellow photographer. Thanks Werner, for all your years of great support and all the fantastic images you have provided. Keep up the good work."

    Whimsical Years Photography says:

"The first time I came upon Werner's photo stream, I couldn't leave. I was mesmerized by his ability to illuminate the marriage between subject and light. As simple as this union between matter and light would seem, it is not often met with as much mastery as Werner is able to achieve. His precision is elegant, giving photography, as well as photographers, a whole new meaning of what art can be.

If I was in need of someone to go out and photograph a segment of a city or small town, for instance, I am without a doubt that Werner would come back with a visual story that you, the viewer, would walk away from and feel as if you yourself were there. His photography is tangible, it is full of texture, it is simplistic and to the point. Yet there are some of his images that stir your soul and invite your imagination to participate.

I have found Werner to be very generous with his photography skills, giving me advice and constructive criticism whenever I asked. As a friend here on Flickr, he has a sense of humor that is great fun and always seems to bring a smile to my face. It is no mistake that our paths have crossed, even if it is only via the long, invisible wires of the internet. Thank you, Werner, for being so openhearted. And for anyone reading this, do take the time to acquaint yourself with Werner's beautiful photography. You will surely be moved if you do!"

"Werner ist one of my favourite photographers here on flickr. His photographs want to be discovered...asking you to enter them, taking your time to journey through. The details and their stories are amazing... each one of them will tell you of Werners sensitive aim to paint a visual diary. His series of different places in Germany, France and other places he has been are outstanding - opening our heart and eyes for them... and our mind. His historical knowledge which he shares with us is simply fantastic. His relationship with light is so special... something that always draws me into his visual diary.
Besides being a fantastic photographer, Werner is a wonderful friend... meeting him here on flickr truly has enriched my life."
