It was only when my fiance gave me a Fuji Finepix pro camera a couple of years ago that I discovered how much I enjoyed taking pictures. These days I'm using a Fuji Finepix S5500. So nice to be able to take pictures in colour again. Still keeping my eyes open for another digital SLR that I can afford, but this will do very nicely in the meantime. It has it's advantages, it's so light I can slip it into my handbag and keep it with me all the time so ,with any luck, when I next get one of those 'I wish I had my camera with me' moments I'll have it! :-)

I'm not in the best of health so don't be suprised if I disappear for a few days every now and then. I'll reply to your comments when I can but if I don't, it isn't a deliberate slight!

I'm really enjoying Flickr, so nice to have something to do with all those photographs once you've taken them. There are some truely amazing photographers around and its wonderful to be able learn from them and enjoy their work. I'm beginning to get to know some lovely people too. I suspect it is addictive......
