I used to travel a lot in my holidays and have been to many countries world-wide. I always loved to take photos but unfortunately most of my pictures are on slides or from some travels on paper, which are glued in photo albums. I scanned a couple of my favourites paper photos and show them here.
My husband and I have got our little Yorkie dog in 2001, spent 3 weeks in the Canadian Rockies (fantastic trip) and missed her just too much. Coming home from Canada we bought a motor home so now we stay in Europe so we can take Mimi along all the time. Our favourite destinations within Europe are Great Britain and Scandinavia though we've also enjoyed our trips to France etc.
We have now got a digital camera and since I love to take animal photos I got a tele lense 300 mm some time ago. I also got a macro lense for Xmas but still have to learn how to use it to got some good DoF with it.

My Canon 350 D died 3 days ago during a forest walk in the Alsace. So I had to get a new camera. We went back to Germany and in Freiburg I got a new Canon 40 D. Took the first shots with it today, August 29th. 2008 in the Black Forest area.
