Started taking photography seriously in March 2008, when I purchased my first SRL Nikon D60 camera (now deceased). Update: bought a Nikon D7000 in July 2011!
Interested in analogue photography. Bought my lomography DianaF+ in January 2010 and resuscitated an old family-owned SLR Minolta X370 from the 80s in April 2011. I love what you can do with them! And I also love the thrill of seeing my pictures developed for the first time! Update: now I also own a Lomography La Sardina, looks like fun!
I spent all of my teenage years watching music videos directed by the most influential directors from the 90s, such as Michel Gondry, Sophie Muller, Herb Ritts, Mark Romanek, David Fincher and I still love the atmosphere they managed to create back then! So I guess my visual inspiration is primarily pop and I've got an interest in fashion photography as well.
My photography sets should be seen as an attempt to create an atmosphere, a sequence of images to tell a brief story, an event maybe, or simply to create a set of mind, sometimes dream-like, sometimes more real-life.
I think pictures are taken to be seen, so I don't mind sharing them in any possible way, as long as I get proper credits. Feel free to contact me if you have any queries and thanks for your visits!
