Jean&Vic says:
"Have you ever wondered what it might be like to step back in time about 60 years or so? if you did you might see something like G.Mai has posted on his site. I stop in often to see something of the past, from photos to the items in the photos. Each one is like a picture from a museum, only without the cover charge at the door, and a knowledgeable curator that can answer the questions you might have about the scene you are seeing. Take a while, wander around looking, and learn about what you see, and you might just learn a little bit more about the past."

(The) Appleman says:
"I became aquainted with George (through flickr) several months back. He made me feel welcome to this community and that meant a lot. Not only has George shown to be a man of high character, it has been and continues to be rewarding and exciting to see his photography and artistic skills developing to even higher levels of expertise. I feel that flickr is more than just a medium to display ones photography and/or artistic skills.....it is a community made up of people from all over the world. A place where people can share not only their artistic talents but also a meeting place where people can share ideas, interests and a little bit of their selves. George is that kind of person and I have learned a lot from my association with him - more than he may realize because it is not artistry alone that makes the artist in us, it is "us" (the human element) who makes the artistry.
There are so many excellent photographers and artists displaying their works on this web site that it becomes mind boggling. It is like having the entire world's art gallery at one's finger tips but, again, I say, it is more than just the display of images that makes the artist - it is the person behind the images that makes the artist - and George is that kind of individual.
Thanks George for encouraging me to keep learning.
