I am a stay-at-home mom. Spending time with my son is incredibly important to me. But, I do miss my teaching job :( I taught Art at Unity Christian High School for 4 wonderful years. I really felt it was my purpose in life and that I was furthering God's kingdom through my work. But God had other plans for me and now my purpose is to raise my son to be a God-fearing young man, which is no small feat! Anyway, since I no longer teach Art, I need an outlet for my creative side. Yay for Flickr! I have also taken up cake decorating, an art that is much safer to work with on my kitchen table. Toxic oil paints and toddlers don't mix well. Go figure.

i hope all of you are lucky enough to get to know all the angles that make up Lori; the view through her lens barrel is only one of them!
