I am a complete and total amateur photographer. Its nice to be able to have some outlet for artistic expression and this is one I tend to gravitate towards. If I only I had more time....

Pictures posted here have two purposes. One to keep people I know updated with my life and two to hopefully catch a good shot.

There is the standard picture and then there is the slightly 'off' picture. I want to find those 'off' pictures. Any advise from others on how to better achieve that is most welcome.

One thing I would also like to work on is how to capture simplicity. I rarely see it and am trying to more and more.

I am a Canadian with Russian parents, lived most of my life in Canada, however born and lived in Europe and am now in the US.

I speak a few languages; English, German, Russian and a little bit of French.
