I’ve been into this photography lark since the end of 2008 now – it’s good fun, isn’t it! Originally starting off with an Olympus E-420 and no idea whatsoever, I’ve now graduated to a Canon 5D Mark II, a lusting for ‘L’ lenses, and still not much of a clue ;) (If you’re one of my wedding bookings then I don’t mean it – I really do know what I’m doing… honest!)

I've not been into photography for 'that' long, but in my two years I've been shortlisted in the Spring 2009 and Summer 2010 rounds of the 'Leicestershire Through a Lens' competition, have had a photo featured on the BBC News website's 'In Pictures' section and subsequently chosen in their top 12 readers pics of 2009, I've been shortlisted in the 2010 'Black & White' round of the Practical Photography / Digital Photo 'Photographer of the Year' competition, and have been a prize winner and multiple featured runner up in the TrustedReviews.com photo competitions.

Which is nice!

Whilst landscapes are my passion, I'm really starting to gain an appreciation for portrait photography. I have photographed a number of weddings this year, and have recently attended a Zack Arias OneLight workshop to further develop my off camera flash skills.
