Deciduous conifer (because I grew up on the East Coast and moved to the Pacific Northwest, and because coniferous trees that change color and lose their needles are the rebels of the evergreen world; also "deciduous" means "falling off at maturity" which describes me -- I've bloomed both early and late but never when I was supposed to)
/ pyroclastic flow (to connote explosive inevitability and a dramatic show; a volcanic term because where I live and where I am supposed to be is surrounded by volcanoes).
