Just a guy who likes taking photographs. I'm a born-and-raised Yooper (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) now living in Central Wisconsin. I'm a happy husband, father of one lovely woman and the grandfather of two beautiful girls. We have a cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Little Girl's Point and Lake Superior. That area provides a continuing source of my inspiration. Most of the early pictures in my photostream were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD500 (later a SD1000) digital camera that my wife got as a prize and got me started on this whole photography thing (I'm now using a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS). I enjoy taking and sharing my pictures as well as viewing the many fine images and communicating with the friendly people of the flickr family.
