About a year ago I gave up my day job in arts marketing and started working at a prestigious London cupcakery. Within 6 months I was going it alone and Sweetie Pies Boutique Bakery was born. It's small but perfectly formed and although it's hard work I wouldn't swap it for anything in the world.
The stories on Flickr of people in similar situations as myself and also those who juggle the day job and bake the remaining hours of the day (believe me I empathise!) are a daily source of both strength and humour that I would be lost without!
