Hello my name is Robin Wilson....thanks for stopping by!!
I purchased my first camera when I was about 10 years old, I saved up all summer and bought one of those miniature spy cameras from the back of a comic book that "took real pictures"....well that was a huge disapointment! My first decent camera was a Pentax SLR I purchased back in the early 80s...bought lots of photography books and had a blast with that camera. My wife Nicole and I are huge scuba diving nuts and that's what got me started in digital photography. I'll probably never be "the best" at anything because it's not in my DNA.......my hobbys have ranged from rock climbing, motocross racing, enduro riding, backpacking, snow skiing, water skiing, road biking, mountain biking, welding/wrought iron work, caving, running, astronomy, scuba diving.....and photography.
I'm blown away by the amount of amazing talent on Flickr but that always motivates me to learn more and try harder!
