I was born in Sero, a remote village situated in Uruzgan Khas District of Uruzgan Province in Afghanistan. Our family fled the ancestral land during early 80's. We came to Pakistan, like other war affected Afghanis, we also restarted a new life in a strange country.

Got my education in Quetta, Pakistan and made a nervous return to Afghanistan on 2005. For five years I worked for the United Nations. The UN gave me the opportunity to conduct intensive travels to very remote and unknown villages of considerable areas of Hazaristan (Central Highlands of Afghanistan). The beauty, vibrant culture, unmatched hospitality, openness and poverty of this deprived region of my native ethnic, Hazara led me to start photography. Since past five years I shot thousands of photos from mentioned Hazara region.

I would like to show Hazaras' culture, beauty, openness, deprivation, poverty and much more . . . .
