  In realtà la sua fotografia è figlia di un percorso lungo e completo, i suoi progetti a lungo termine su singoli aspetti (che sia bokeh, che sia monocromatico o che altro) ne sono testimonianza.   day after day you always see them, and you can note they haven't flags or sailors, they are all equal to each other.

  La sua fotografia ti porta in un altro mondo, dove per mezzo della sua tecnica ed il suo modo di vedere le cose, la fotografia digitale prende un'altra forma, piacevole, gradita, affascinante. Occhio sottile e perfetto, sa portare la foto nel punto dove si ottiene il massimo da uno scatto che per altri possa essere banale. Chi vuole imparare delle cose nuove che riguardano la foto digitale, lo può fare dalle sue foto: l'ho fatto anch'io.

  "se state leggendo questo mio testimonial su giovanni e perchè siete finiti sulla pagina del profilo di gio...e se ci siete finiti e perchè non ne avete potuto fare ameno di chiedervi chi c'era dietro a foto cosi stupende. Beh io non so chi ci sia dietro, non conosco di persona giovanni..l'ho incontrato per caso come capita a tutti i flickeriani, e sono rimasto incantato dalla serie di foto di Manduria.
  Beh se sei arrvato fino a qui, ti assicuro che non smetterai mai di seguire il suo lavoro.
  Fa un uso delle ottiche grandangolari degne del miglior fotografo del national ma con un taglio da fotoreporter ..lui ti 'sbatte' dentro il paessaggio..sei lì in quell'atmosfera, con quelle luci..ti coinvolge ..è davvero incredibile.
  Ma la sua sensibilità al linguaggio fotografico gli permette di trattare qualsiasi soggetto con la stessa 'grazia creativa'.

  "jjjohn70's sweeping rectilinear wide-angle shots with what seems to me a moderate amount of HDR applied are obviously done in a professional way. Sometimes we just have to thank The Creator for making the sky so perfect and just presenting us with the moment to be able to be there just then. That is the re-gift of many of his works of art. The natural mood lighting he hunts for plays on the mind at a very subconscious level. The skill and the timing of the ability to recognize a rare moment of mood is to be commended and he has created many fine examples of just that. His love of the land itself cannot be hidden. It is more than just a subject to be lit. It must be captured so you can go there over and over by just looking at it.
  Now that we have so much control over this digital soup, we can even ruin a perfectly decent picture so easily after the click. So far as I can see, jjohn70's soup is just right!
