The Albert Carlton - Cashiers Community Library is a member of Fontana Regional Library, a six-library system that serves Jackson, Macon, and Swain counties in western North Carolina.

Cashiers Community Library has been called the "heart of the village of Cashiers" and receives tremendous support from permanent and part year residents. The Library serves as a public meeting place, a gathering place for leisure time with friends, and an after school haven for the local students.
