I am a teacher, writer, and photo-artist. Ten years ago I started making digital scrapbooks and collages. Later I plunged into the realm of digital PhotoArt and Collages where images are transformed into watercolor, pen and ink, impressionistic, and other painterly styles.

My images have appeared on television, in contests, on magazine covers and at various online venues. Now I am going public and offering to create a memorable image of your pet, one worthy of framing.
I work with a method called “pixel play.” I create many different versions of an image. Then I weave together the top 4 to 10 images. Most of the art images involve hundreds of steps. Finally, I then print, evaluate, and revise the image. As a result, I produce one-of-a-kind PhotoArt pieces. I offer the following services or packages:

=========
PhotoART Styles: The PhotoArt styles combine the best elements of photographic capture and traditional art media (charcoal, watercolor, block printing etc.). I rely on the photograph to accurately capture detail, shape, and line.

I begin by enhancing the image for color, sharpness, depth, and detail. I then use these enhanced color and black-white images to create a style of your choosing. In almost every case, I can invest more detail, more accurately than is typically possible when using traditional media and eye-hand capabilities.

=========
COLLAGES: These is one of the more popular packages where 5 or more images are first enhanced and then combined. In this fashion you can preserve favorite images from puppyhood, show the various moods and antics of your pal, or make a special memory collage for a pet from your past.

=========
DIGITAL COMMISSIONS: These works are far more intense and involved. It is like creating several PhotoArt Styles and then blending them by hand in a single composited image. These are special, serious works suitable for framing.

If you are interested in exploring these options then I suggest you first view my sample images online. Then email or phone me to learn about the process of selecting a gift certificate or suitable style for a print that will bring you many years of viewing pleasure.

Images can then be printed in various media. A large print will be suitable for mating and framing. Images can be reduced and printed as postage stamps. Other outlets include printing on Tee-Shirts, mugs, calendars, mouse pads, even business or note cards.

And because this really is a labor of love, I will also donate either proceeds from sales or time to local animal support agencies such as shelters, refuges, and rescues.
