stormlover2007's photostream |
Hi my name is Alison I live in Swindon, UK. Getting on in years but full of life when it comes to wildlife and nature.
I have 2 Persian cats that i adore. I have just discovered the magic of photography and spend every spare moment outside trying to capture weird creatures, moody skies and beautiful landscapes.
All my shots are taken hand-held and just as the image is before me. I don't use tricks to improve my pictures and very rarely use post processing except for an occasional crop.
I like you to see, exactly what i saw, when you look at my photos. Natural as nature intended.
Hope you enjoy looking at my pictures as much as i enjoyed taking them.
I am absolutely besotted with The Foo Fighters- exemplary, superb, the best band EVER!!!! Love you guys!

"Alison -
Just a quick note to tell you how glad I am to have you as my very first flickr friend. You took me on as a flickr idiot and explained the most fundamental elements. Your photography is beautiful, my favorite, as you know, being your purple flowers. Thank you so much for your kindness, help, and beautiful photography.

"I have never met Alison, We are only 'flikr' friends, but I have never had anyone encourage me so completely or inspire my love of photography so much. She has an enormous number of contacts and yet still manages to appraise everyones offerings, always in the most encouraging and flattering way. I am extreemly greatful for all her coments and invitations. She would have to be one of the most caring and kind people on the planet. If you love nature and all her creatures....take a look through Alisons photostream and be over-awed and inspired."

"Dear Alison.
I have found a new friend in You.
Allthough I've never met you and I've only known you for a short while, I find you to be such a strong, vivid, caring and loving lady. Your colorful photos are just amazing as you capture life and nature so beautifully.
Your love for all sentient beings is remarkable. You are an inspiring woman who cares deeply.
I can also share with you the love for our precious cats which we all love so dearly. Cat-ladies of the world unite!!!!! LOL...
I'm also very happy to have met another Buddhist Friend...
There aren't enough people like you in this reality, and I am so very happy to have crossed your path....
I truly wish there would be more people like you in this world, that would really make it a more peaceful and loving place."15th October, 2007
