  "I sat back tonight and I thought of people who make a difference on flickr.
  As a person who sells his work on a consistent basis……… I find it difficult to align my self with tthose of similar caliber as most are difficult, snobby, and afraid of competition, …….Not with Franco.
  There are those that love photography and the “ ART” it represents ,who are demonstrative in the role they play in other photographers lives, there are those that many look up to ……..and to be able to do this, and be creative, and talented, is no easy task, except when it come to “FRANCO” who is talented and wise beyond comparison…….. A great friend, and somebody who I just recently became friends with ………yet I have noticed his work and popularity for some time now .
  A crusader as a diplomat for flickr……… and for the Art of photography ……on top of all that he is extremely gifted, and I appreciate a technical side of somebody who is artistic and thoughtful …………no wonder the intelligence and thought process that comes from him ( in his real life as an architect) ….. ( talk about art and mind)… is so evident in his work and his gauge of people and impressive photography knowledge….its funny I, as a technical Illustrator ,( even though I sold out years ago to the corporate world) appreciate the thought process of Franco`s generosity of being a good soul……… While helping those around him improve.
  A class act, an artist, and a true flickr friend that I’m am lucky to know …..besides he must be a great photographer as we both shoot with the same camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ha ha ha :D …………Seriously though a good flickr friend,( that always returns a message) and a serious person, who throws himself into his passion,( it`s obvious as look how he throws himself into the flickr domain for example) which not only makes him a good friend, but makes you appreciate the friendship as you gotta have respect for such a tremendous photographer, as well as what he brings to the photographic arena …………glad to have made your acquaintance here on flickr Island Franco………………..I trust you ………..That’s the biggest compliment I could give anyone on or off the computer screen………………..Howard"

  "Ho avuto modo d´apprezzare gli scatti di Franco da un po di tempo rimanendo affascinato davanti ai suoi lavori.
  Credo che le leggi fondamentali della fotografia non siano tante: soggetto, composizione , gestione delle luci e forse qualche altra cosa. Tutti questi parametri LI cura da vero maestro sia che si tratti di una macro o di una panoramica, insegnandoci ancora di piu che : la foto viene scattata dal fotografo.

  Even I´m long way off to be a Pro, right now first starting up in more serious photography, I would like to suggest: Have a look to Francos pictures!
  For me it is nearly not to express with words how fascinated I am from this work.
  The variety of the motives (insects, flowers, the drops), the creativity... simply amazing.
