I only wanted Uncle Vernon standing by his own car (a Hudson) on a clear day, I got him and the car. Ialso got a bit of Aunt Mary’s laundry and Beau Jack, the dog, peeing on the fence, and a row of potted tuberous begonias on the porch and 78 trees and a million pebbles in the driveway and more. It’s a generous medium, photography. - Lee Friedlander

I feel as though he is taking me with him to the wonderful places he travels, showing me intimate glimpses of his internal world, his vision of the people around him and the wonderful experiences he lives. Thank you, Tylaar, for sharing this with us."

Is this the kind of candyfloss bullshit I should expect from Flickr? If so, I want out. Maybe I should join Facebook..... Or is it an equally patronising "jobs for dicks" facade?"
