A guy that has traveled quite a bit, for work and pleasure, and likes to take pictures. Started "serious" photography with a Olympus Pen FT in the late 60's. Eventually moved on to the Olympus full frame system and shot thousands of Kodachrome slides. In the early 2000's digital came, out which was perfect for work, at least that's how I justified an $800US Sony 3.3 megapixel camera. The OM system has languished ever since. The Sony eventually died and was replaced with a series of other P&S's. Last year I splurged on a Nikon D7000 and am extremely happy with it so far.

Rant follows:
Comments and suggestions are welcome and very much appreciated, but please keep flashy awards to a minimum. They look like billboards on the freeway and distract from the original poster's image. I especially resent those that require me to award other flashy awards. Is this a race to build the biggest group? If so, what's the point? Sounds like junior high school all over again! A simple request to join a new group would seem to be sufficient and appropriate.
