I was born in Puerto Rico and came to Louisiana to go to school in 1965, I have lived here ever since. I maintain very strong roots in Puerto Rico. I don't know what it is about that island but once you are born there that is it, you will always long to go back. I have always been an amateur photographer, as a child I even had the little Brownie Kodak. My two kids although grown, are my pride and joy, they are both doing well, my son is a doctor and my daughter is a nurse. I love reading my Bible every day and sharing with others what I have learned. I love living in Louisiana and it is a beautiful place to take beautiful pictures, I think it is a very unique state. I am also an avid bird watcher. I am an Army Brat and have lived in many places. I went to the 5th grade in 3 different countries, I started 5th grade in Nurenberg, Germany, then Puerto Rico and finished the 5th grade in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, all within a 9 month span.

I have lived in the following places:

1. Puerto Rico
2. Germany
3. Puerto Rico
4. Ft. Sill, Oklahoma
5. Cleveland, Ohio
6. Ft. Benning, Georgia
7. Puerto Rico
8. Baltimore, Maryland
9. New Orleans, Louisiana
10. Livingston Parish, Louisiana

Carlos N. Molina - Paper Art says:

"I love looking at Julie's pictures. Her stories of family, tradition, and our past touch me deeply. Her love for her past and her family and friends remind me of my own family, my own past and the traditions and personal history that I treasured so much.

    Gracias Julie!

    Abrazos,
    Carlos N."
