I'm a high school English teacher who is presently "retired" from education. I stopped teaching after 25 years in the classroom, moved next door to my parents, and now take care of my mother who has Alzheimer's disease. This past year my father was diagnosed with multiple myaloma, so I basically take care of both parents now.
I have always been interested in photography, but have only found enough free time to play with it in the last few years. I have a digital camera and Photoshop pro - but my goal is to get a HDR camera next. Then I need to find lots of free time to do some serious picture taking. The photographs I take now are really first attemps at photography; I'm definately in the learning stage.
