I am... Silly, serious, quiet, loud, creative, observant, forceful, submissive, kind, harsh, black, white, adventurous, careful, family oriented, a loner and always changing.

I am a relatively new photographer and still learning. Expression is my passion, be it writing, dancing, painting, cooking or photography. I love it all. Since I found out that I have Lupus (2008), photography has become a major outlet for me. I love to write and paint, but sometimes between the pain and stress, I find myself blocked. With photography, I can snap, learn and play, regardless of my mood and how I feel. Occasionally, I'll attach a poem to my photo. Photography has grown from a hobby to a source of hope in my life, something that keeps me connected to the world around me, even when I feel alone. For that, I am extremely grateful.

In case you're wondering, anytime I alter a photo (I have a very basic photo editor, no photoshop) I'll indicate it in the description. I'm not very good at editing, yet.

There are some photos in my stream that are available to only "Friends" and "Family". I've done this because, sadly, the internet is not a safe place for children and I won't leave my family or friends family open to abuse or their images to misuse. If you think you should be listed as friends or family, just let me know. :-)

Any comments are welcome and constructive criticisms are highly appreciated. I really want to get good at this.
