I'm a self-taught amateur who has been pursuing photography since September 2007. I started with a Canon Powershot G9 then upgraded to the Canon EOS 40D. Current lenses are the Canon 70-200 f/4.0 IS, Canon 100mm f/2 Macro, and the Sigma 150-500 f/5-6.3. I enjoy shooting a variety of subjects but favour macro, nature and street. These days it's increasingly apparent that photography is not just a mere hobby; it's an essential therapy!

My species wish list

There are many, many animals I'd love to photograph, and if I had the choice i'd see them in their natural environment. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity or the funds to travel so many animals may remain simply a dream. I'll add to my list whenever I think of new animals and, who knows, maybe tick a few off .
