Everything else posted earlier is thrown out, which means there's only a limited array of my pictures on here. I've been putting off getting Pro (unlimited space, yay!) until I am better established concerning my costuming and art websites. I extend many apologies for those who find that my other nifty creations are nowhere in sight. I'll probably have to delete some images that are worthless so as to make more space. Welcome to my humble, historically obsessed page.

I am cazonetta (aka Madame Herz), a student and self-taught artist. J'aime horses, classical music, Mozart and just about anything relating to the 18th century, because I am thoroughly obsessed with that era. Though I manage to get back to the "real world" when I have to. Le sigh! -_-

Mio Kostüme
I have been costuming for only four years. Prior to that, my extreme tomboy aversion to fashion in general insured what sewing I did was for my toy animals (dresses for the dogs, shirts for the mice). But Mozart entered the scene and I finally overcame what nerves I had to sew my first dress when I was 15. It was horribly flawed (read: nylon fabric, machine sewing, wrinklage, raw seams, no stays, no patterns, no idea - need I say more?). Since then I've gathered a library of books, make mistakes and try to learn from them. Mistakes today comprise of centimeter wrinkles, a hem just a hair too short, a stripe not quite aligned or huge hairdos that flop. Meh.
My interest is piqued to the 18th century, but I hope to branch off into the Tudor age through Regency and early 20th century.

Mio Art
I love art. I love it. I love it (okay, that's enough).
My style is what it is. I am self-taught, which is to say I wasn't in an art college, school, etc. I paint in oils, pastels, and draw quite alot. Typical subjects include horses, animals, portraits, some still lifes and landscapes, but no nudes. In my opinion, there is far, far too much glorification of the nude as it is, so don't be offended if I refuse a commission for one. I just do not find them a compelling subject.
