Advanced amateur photographer.

First started getting serious about photography after going to a Foreigner concert in November of 1991. When the new country artists, such as, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn, etc. came out, I got bit with the bug. It became a passion to not only hear the performance but to photograph it. I have a few rules at concerts. #1 is to take the photos from the seat I bought so it represents how the audience actually sees the performance. #2 is to use existing lighting, no flash.
Besides concert pictures I have broaden out to nature and anything else beautiful or interesting, no matter how simple.

I started shooting with a manual 35mm Olympus camera and graduated up through the years to various cameras and finally to digital. What freedom digital brought! I now use a Pentax K10D.
