I am a former small-town girl enjoying life in the “big” city of Seattle. I grew up in Cashmere, Wash., which is the geographic center of the state and home to almost 3,000 people. My current home in Maple Leaf has a perfect blend of my old and new life.

I graduated from Seattle University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. I took a short break to travel through Europe and volunteer with the Red Cross to aid Hurricane Katrina victims—then hunkered down and became a member of the working world.

I'm borderline obsessed with my two dogs Riley and Sam (come on, are they not the cutest?), love game nights with friends and am now back in school for a graphic design certificate.
