I've been through alot of different cameras over the years, including a Kodak Disk Camera (anyone remember those?)

I got my first SLR in the early 90's and spent alot of time getting into learning more about photography. After several years, somehow life eventually got in the way and my photography kinda got shelved until I moved up to digital in '02. But the thrill of digital just made me take 3 times as many bad snapshots, that lasted for a few years until I finally moved up to a DSLR and found Flickr. That's when my original love of photography returned to me. I also found such wonderful web sites online to learn things I never had from the books at my local library.

I joined a couple groups here on Flickr that has really helped push my learning, creativity, and the pictures I make to a new level. I'm enjoying it tremendously.

I'm also a pet lover and have 6 cats who are sometimes willing, or unwilling, photo subjects. *ETA, I had to have Sabrina put to sleep in June 2011.
