My name is Dan Phillips, I am a 23 year old graphic designer from Stow, OH.
I am currently enrolled in Kent State University's Visual Communication Design program, approching a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2D Graphic Design with a minor in Web Design & Programming.
I am a freelance designer for Major League Baseball - I specifically work as a designer for MLB.com. Once I graduate college in 2008, I will be moving to New York City to work full-time.
Flickr has some amazing content and is a pretty inspiring - among other things, it really sparked my interest in photography. I recently decided to purchase my first DSLR camera - the Sony A100. For now I am experimenting with the 20-70mm lens, but plan on purchasing a 70-300 Macro lens and a Wide Angle lens in the near future to expand my capabilities. At this point, I consider myself to be amateur, but plan on using flickr as a stepping stone for sharing and learning.
