drink stout and ale, hate tv, love reading, hike the woods, draw some stuff, take some pics, love my wife, love my daughter, love my dog, enjoy most music, daydream often... and i'm likely getting weirder, day by day.

i don't do much "artistic" photography these days. no time with a small monkey running through the house.




things i've learned from "explore":
1. i don't much like HDR photos
2. central and south american girls often make the same facial expression in photos taken on their cell phones
3. there really are a lot of transvestites on flickr, most look like middle-aged british women from 1970's television
4. hipsters like themselves much more than i like them
5. 365 of one's self is kind of silly (i tried it for about a week before i found it too pointless and narcissistic even for this narcissist)
6. there are some things you can't "un-see"
7. second life screenshots are not remotely interesting. get off the couch, go outside. maybe even take a camera with you. it doesn't have to be a good one

i'm on, facebook, forumwales, americymru, woodenboat forum and a few other places i've long-since forgotten the passwords and quit using.
