This site is a bit like an old barn - here you'll find all kinds of trivia and ephemera, some of it quite old, some taken yesterday. I don't claim anything here to be out of the ordinary, but if an image catches your eye, I'm happy.
Comments are always very welcome - but I delete large logos, 'awards' and those ghastly moving gifs.

I'm a semi-retired writer and editor in the UK; I've worked in journalism and the media all my life. Taking photographs is purely a hobby, an interest - but an absorbing one.
